concept “distillery of art”, a proposal for an architectural solution for an itinerant installation system for the fondazione prada is the design approach based on the contrast.

the underlying condition for this concept is the former use of the site - the gin distillery, that formed direction of aesthetics for the geometry, the selection of materials and the composition of elements.

the shape of distillery stills has been abstracted, transformed by slicing into single layers. juxtaposition of already existing element earth (raw, natural) together with added new meterial elements (sleek, polished), our installation system aims to combine contrasting elements and materials and, embrace the characteristics of materials without further interventions.
